  • Providene College is a private Catholic institution located in Providence, Rhode Island.

    Niah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Film from Providence College. A program that only existed as a minor until Niah decided to create it for herself.

    She participated in several film, writing, communications, and even acting related courses during her time at Providence. Niah was known to her classmates as someone with a gifted eye for visual presentation and captivating writing ability.

    Niah was a Division I student-athlete for Providence College’s Volleyball Team. She was a middle blocker that always focused on how she could improve herself and her teammates.

    In addition, Niah was a 2024 & 2025 Dean’s List recipient.

  • Newhouse Los Angeles is an immersive professional development program based in Los Angeles, California. It provides students with the unique opportunity to work as interns with Los Angeles media companies while taking entertainment industry-related academic courses taught by professionals.

    Niah was accepted into Newhouse LA in late 2024 and attended the program during her senior spring in 2025 (Jan-April). She was the only non-Syracuse student, but her classmates and professors made her feel more than welcome.

    While taking her classes, she was a Graphic Design & Marketing intern for the Los Angeles Sports Council.

    For Niah’s TV Nation class, students were given the opportunity to pitch conceptual television ideas to industry executives. These executives would carefully select their favorite pitch at the end of their evaluation.

    For her midterm, Niah’s scripted television pitch was chosen as the winner amongst her talented classmates. Her final pitch for a non-scripted program won second-place as an honorable mention. (watch the sizzle reel here!)

    Niah’s experience in Los Angeles (for the first time) only further ignited her ambitions towards entertainment. Making her dreams feel more achievable than ever before.

  • Wylie High School is a public institution located in Wylie, Texas.

    At Wylie, students pursue 4-year endorsement programs that offer specialized classes tailored to their future careers. Niah's endorsement was in Digital Media & Video Production.

    She was also a 4-year varsity volleyball player for the Wylie Pirates. While captaining her senior year, Niah helped lead her team to the 6A Regional Finals—the furthest the program has gone in school history, to this day.

    Niah earned her High School Diploma from Wylie High in May of 2021.

 FAQs

  • Niah has participated in classes specializing in video production, graphic design, and creative writing since the 7th grade. However, most of the skills she’s learned were taught by herself through hours of practice…and YouTube videos.

  • Niah’s primary interest is directing and writing in the film and television industry. Even so, Niah has never found limiting her future to be quite her style. She wishes to explore multiple aspects of the entertainment industry, especially in sports media.

    Acting, fashion, writing (novels), and entrepreneurial work are all paths Niah can see herself also venturing into.

  • Niah is 5’11!

  • Several of Niah’s family members played basketball in high school and at the collegiate level—her most immediate being her paternal grandfather, father, and younger brother (along with several uncles and cousins).

    Niah tried out for her 8th grade basketball team, but never picked up the sport beyond that.
